Just .2 miles from Scarborough Beach, Gaspee Cottage awaits your visit. This sweet cottage was completely renovated in 2015, keeping only the original wood ceilings and wood floors. This property has three bedrooms and a full bath, along with a large outside shower with hot and cold water and changing area.  

This updated property has decorator inspired decor with a coastal influence from the granite counters to the artwork and more.  All the bedrooms have hardwood floors, wall mounted televisions with new mini-splits which allows for individualized cooling. There is also a mini-split in the living room area.  The owners have taken special care to make sure the kitchen has everything you need.  The bedrooms all have wall mounted full length mirrors and some have charging stations for phones including a USB port under the kitchen island for ease when traveling with multiple devices. Lots of extras!

Additional living spaces include a front screened sun porch with an outdoor sofa, table and chairs. The screened area is perfect for card games at night or to just sit and listen to the ocean. There are also two patio areas in the back of the property including a shaded dining area under an awning and an open stone patio with chairs and chaises, along with a grill.  The yard is private and perfect to sunbathe or relax. 

Getting to the beach is easy with the provisions on site: beach chairs, cart, toys, towels, coolers and more. Gaspee Cottage provide an oasis for pure relaxation on your vacation. Scarborough State Beach is just a short walk away and there is no fee to walk on the beach from any of their entrances.  If you prefer Roger Wheeler State Beach, also known as Sand Hill Cove, it is just five minutes away by car.  Narragansett Town Beach is a ten minute drive north.  

Many local summer dining establishments are less than five minutes away: Aunt Carrie's, Iggy's, George's, Champlin's, Spain, Chair 5 and many others. The Block Island ferry is minutes away. Take the high speed ferry and spend a day on the island eating and shopping on Water Street!

For a turnkey vacation experience, the listed price includes checkout cleaning and linens for the occupancy of the property. Commercially laundered linens are provided, including sheets, duvets with fresh covers, and one towel set (bath towel, hand towel, facecloth) per guest, plus bathmats and kitchen towels. Beach towels are not included unless otherwise noted. Stays over one week may incur an additional linen charge.
