Lovely large refurbished farmhouse with two covered porches, a screened porch and stone patio. Fabulous for outdoor living! Well furnished and equipped. The house is surrounded by farm fields, a meadow and some mature shade trees. Just a short 5 minute walk through scenic woods to an ocean cove. Excellent size, 6 bedrooms, for large families or groups of friends. The bedrooms on the first and second floor each have their own bathrooms. The third floor, with two smaller bedrooms with twin beds, does not have a bathroom. Guests sleeping on the 3rd floor share a bathroom on the second floor. Thus, this arrangement can be challenging for some people. Highly recommend this property. You will enjoy the comfort of the house and the quiet location at the end of a dirt road. And, very convenient to area beaches and towns.

This was our second year renting this property for the week of Thanksgiving and it was just as amazing as last year! We had family travel in from CA and NJ and the home provided the perfect amount of space and togetherness for us to celebrate and spend some serious quality time together. This property was great for a large family. Very updated and well maintained. The only change I would make would be to improve the kitchen amenities. The pots and pans need to be upgraded. Was difficult to cook a meal for 10 with the existing equipment

We have been spending summers in Matunuck for too many years to count and have NEVER had such a wonderful accommodation as this magnificently restored 1890 farmhouse. The beautifully accommodating kitchen with wonderful traffic flow throughout the main rooms including access from the dining room and kitchen to the screened in porch where we enjoyed many meals, was perfect. The vistas of cornfields and ancient trees, the peacefulness, the light filled rooms and the ground floor bedroom with en suite bath made our visit a joy. The 3 floors each had climate control so when our son and grandson joined us, they had a lovely oasis a floor above, as well as the outdoor shower by the game room / garage building for their returns from the sandy beach. We enthusiastically recommend this property!

This home was perfect for our family getaway! The ensuite bed/bathrooms were excellent and allowed privacy and space for our family of 7 adults. The yard is big and provides a great space for yard games and a walk down to the pond, where we had access for our kayaks. The ladies at Sunrise were very helpful with local information!

You can't get a better experience than staying in the immaculately restored farmhouse. It has enough space for everyone with multiple porches, family rooms and even a game area for ping pong and fuse ball. Just a short walk or bike ride to the wonderful beaches and local restaurants Located right off Matunuck beach road and surrounded by lush fields and corn. There's multiple walking paths to take in the nature but still super close to the local supermarket and beaches. There's no place quite like it.
