How do you spend a day off?
When I’m not working, I enjoy beach days with a good book, boating, long walks with my rescue dog Annie, and supporting the many awesome establishments that make South County so special.
Where is the best lobster roll in the area?
My favorite is Monahans in Charlestown, both their hot and cold lobster rolls are delicious!
Where do you bring out of town guests to get the best RI experience?
I always try to give out-of-town guests a mix of classic Rhode Island staples and some of my favorite local spots. In South County, I love taking people to Purslane and Duck Press on Main Street in Wakefield, Champlin’s in Galilee for the full waterfront experience, and favorites like Kabuki, Pasquale’s, The Mews, Matunuck Oyster Bar & The Ocean Mist. Beyond South County, a drive through Jamestown and Newport is a must, and if there’s enough time, Block Island is always worth the trip. I also love day trips to Westerly and Mystic for the great restaurants, shopping, and coastal New England charm.
