Located in North Kingstown, Wickford Village is a small waterfront area that is easy to explore on foot. The streets are lined with local shops, galleries, and a few casual restaurants. It is a great stop if you want to walk around without a set plan.

The harbor is right in the center of the village, with benches and a small park area where you can sit and watch boats come and go. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are sometimes available nearby in warmer months. It is also a nice place to grab breakfast or coffee and take a short walk.

The Wickford Art Festival in July brings in a large crowd and dozens of artists, but outside of that weekend it stays quiet. It works well as a short stop on the way to or from other parts of the state.
